“We’ve got Paleolithic brains, medieval institutions and god-like technologies” E.O. Wilson (1929)

A graph showing the progression of human development, with a blue line representing progress influenced by technology, civilization, and creature comforts, and a green line indicating biological progress. The graph highlights a mismatch hypothesis, illustrating a clash between biology and lifestyle, with a timeline from 1200 BCE to today. An illustration of human evolution is depicted, from primates to modern humans using technology.

Evolutionary mismatch is a primary reason for the loneliness epidemic, mental health crisis & dampened livelihood in America.

If you’re like us, an ember burns deep in your chest. It flickers, smolders & flutters in the fire of life. The ember needs oxygen, dry wood, less water. When we move our body in nature, away from screens with others, our shields drop & the ember gets what it needs.
